Machinery

Our sophisticated production line includes an automated (CAD/CAM) line containing computer controlled Makron frame-making jig, Weinmann robotic bridge for fixing and machining the sheathing , as well as vacuum-assisted window insertion.

 The result is the automation of processes that would have previously been carried out manually and the increased efficiency of processes still requiring some human input. Flexibility is maintained, primarily due to the use of computer control and safety is improved.

The panels travel through the factory on a monorail style hoist system.

The floor cassettes and the roofs are produced in a separate part of the Factory in a slightly less automated fashion

Skilled manufacture

The use of world-leading technology ensures that Advanced Panel Systems™ are manufactured to the highest standards of accuracy and quality.

Our Technicians are trained to a high level of skill and operate in a controlled environment. Exacting standards ensure that components are machined to the dimensions automatically produced by the design software.

Wall panel line is run by a CAD/CAM link guiding the technician through manufacture

Floor line is more manual skilled line. Drawings come from the design studio and they pick and assemble according to the Manufacturing Details.

Quality

We work under the UKTFA (United Kingdom Timber Framed Association) we have achieved their Q Mark

Annual audit which covers Design, Manufacture and Erection processes. Must pass all 3 to retain our Q Mark Quality standard.

Factory fitted before delivery to site

Because Advanced Panel Systems^TM manufacture off-site, there is a significant reduction in waste and lower embodied energy of construction.

• Thermal and acoustic insulation
• Vapour control membrane
• High performance dry wall board
• Electrical, plumbing & heating service zone and service box
• Floor panels have the decking fitted and the holes drilled to match exactly with the service zone in the adjoining wall panels and partitions
• Roof panels are pre-assembled from precision cut rafters, a sarking board is applied with a breathable membrane and a counter batten is fitted, all before being delivered to the construction site, ensuring a dry shell within days of commencement of work.
